Estate Klingelbeek

Living at lush estate at the Rhine
Estate Klingelbeek
i

On one of the most outstanding locations of the Netherlands, where the (in Holland) rare hills of the Veluwe touch the river Rhine by Arnhem, you’ll find the 16th century estate Klingelbeek. This derelict estate is being transformed into a 21st century estate where living, working and playing go hand in hand.

The gently sloping landscape embraces three formal clusters.

One cluster from the historic villa, one cluster embracing the historic allotment gardens and a new one in the forest where the former formal gardens have disappeared.

A spectacular natural swimming pond on the edge of the estate overlooks the floodplains of the river Rhine. A new creek starts from the renewed pond and flows into the river Rhine, in-between the new bath-house and the natural swimming pool.
